An antique George III pine barrel back tavern settle
Code: 10204
Dimensions:
A charming late 18th century high back tavern settle constructed from stained pine.
This lovely example of Georgian furniture has a curved backrest and seat. To either side are deep panel supports each with a well worn arm rest.
The settle would have originally been used in a tavern offering people a place to sit, with its shrouded design keeping out unwanted draughts.
The whole piece has lovely time worn details and dark treacle colouration.
With the cubby space below the seat making this a great usable seating and storage option.
An ideal addition for a hallway or kitchen.
