A vintage 1950s salvaged painted red fire bucket

A good size original 1950s vintage painted steel fire sand bucket.

Found in its original red painted finish with applied 'FIRE ONLY' lable.

Heavy duty in is constructed, the bucket is one of two we currently have available.

Both were salvaged from a factory where they would have held sand, used for extinguishing fires.

Fitted with a swing handle which allowed the bucket to be suspended from a hanging hook, if required.

These make for ideal containers to store kindling or small logs by the fire place, or even an alterantive to a run of the mill planter.

The other bucket not illustrated is identical in size and finish, it has a similar applied lable which reads 'FIRE'.  

Fire buckets have become well recognised pieces of industrial salvage, which have increased in popularity and used widely within the home.
