A mid 19th century antique Lincolnshire low stick back Windsor armchair
Code: 10359
A sturdy mid 19th century antique Lincolnshire low stick back Windsor armchair.
English, circa 1840.
Wonderfully hand crafted in elm and ash, with honest time worn patina. The turned ring detail to the armrest supports and legs are a lovely feature.
This charming chair feels weighty in the hands, and it is larger than most we've seen. The original black painted finish is cracked and dry and just how you would like to find it.
Very robust in its construction, the chair has survived incredibly well, with no movement in the joints.
It's generous proportions and design all help to create a very comfortable chair.
