A late 18th century pine barrel back tavern settle
Code: 10148
Dimensions:
A wonderful example of a nicely proportioned Georgian pine barrel back tavern settle.
Sourced from Devon, with a lovely dry muted patina and a gentle curved form.
The high backrest topped with a sturdy hood.
Salvaged from a 14th century pub this antique settle certainly has the rustic charm you would expect.
The barrel back being of very subtle design allows for the settle to sit up against a wall without intruding too much.
The perfect addition to a hallway or kitchen.
With the cubby space below the seat and option to display on top of the hooded backrest, makes this a great usable seating and storage option.
