Antique Edwardian religious oak church altar table

A good quality early 20th century solid oak religious altar table.

Very understated in its design as you would expect with a church piece, but the highlight of the table is the simple solid brass crucifix inset to its centre.

The crucifix as shown in the listing images is recessed so it sits almost flush and the brass has developed a fantastic patina.

The table is well constructed and is very solid, the oak top has a wonderful colour and grain running through it.

This would certainly make for an ideal hall table or an alternative option to the usual sideboard on a kitchen or living room. It’s the perfect hight to also use as a standing desk.

Available to collect by appointment from our showroom in South Yorkshire.
